Background

The "San Giuseppe" kindergarten school based in Gratacasolo di Pisogne (BS) originates from the initiatives of the successive parish priests in the years between 1906 and 1928, the year of its establishment; the school began its activity in 1928 with mainly welfare purposes and has evolved following the stages of pedagogical reflection until it becomes a school for the child and for the child. The school was elected a non-profit organization in 1968. From the foundation until 2001, the Sisters Servants of Charity of Brescia worked at the nursery school. Starting from the 2000/2001 school year (prot. 488/2277- 28/02/2001) the San Giuseppe Infant School is legally recognized as a NuovaScuola Paritaria by the Ministry of Public Education (pursuant to the law of 10 March 2000, no. . 62) and therefore teachers with a degree recognized by the MIUR work internally.
